Sit Back, Relax and Enjoy a Burger & Beer at Rick’s Cabaret in Fort Worth

By Cory Carlyle
The scenario is a familiar one that many guys in America face before heading out for the evening: Where should we go eat first? We found a simple answer and that is simply, the same place you are going afterward that just happens to have some of the most gorgeous women in town!
Similar to the way that a lot of the movie theaters now offer dining options to make the “Dinner & Movie” night simultaneous as opposed to going to a restaurant, getting in your car and driving to the cinema, we were running late to meet a group at the upscale gentlemen’s club Rick’s Cabaret in west Fort Worth when this somewhat obvious discovery occurred.
There was a good crowd in the club when we arrived, so we ventured up the staircase that is just to the left of the main stage and took us to the Ultra Lounge. This VIP-style area was much quieter and intimate. It had its own bar and more importantly, it had a bad ass bartender, Ashley Doll (who works Thurs. Fri. and Sat nights in the upstairs bar).
Since we had not stopped to grab dinner on the way, we had hoped to get some chips and queso or really anything to tide us over when unbeknownst to us, Rick’s Fort Worth has a food full menu that tops all of the restaurants in the immediate Ridgmar Mall area.
I opted for the Cheeseburger, which is 1/2 pound handmade burger, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. I added some bacon and got a side of fries and, of course, a Shiner Bock because everyone knows that burgers are better with a beer.
The burger was fantastic and I would highly recommend it, but Rick’s Fort Worth full menu also includes: Starters such as Handmade Pizza, Tenderloin Tamales and Jumbo Chicken Wings; Garden and Chef Salads; Entrees including Pasta Alfredo, Rib Eye, Strip Steak, Chicken Fried Steak and Jumbo Fried Shrimp; Sandwiches such as the Grilled Chicken Club, Strip Steak Sandwich and the Breakfast Burritio.
Rick’s Fort Worth also has a $6 Lunch Menu if you want to get escape from work and enjoy the view. Lunch is served daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
